Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a treatment modality used to help heal trauma, decrease anxiety, increase self-esteem, and improve overall wellness. As a Registered Play Therapist, Brigette Maas will explain EMDR and share creative and playful ways she uses EMDR to help individuals across the lifespan.

Objectives:

  1. Describe the basic components of EMDR
  2. Identify ways EMDR can help clients with grief or trauma
  3. Understand how to combine EMDR with play therapy

CEUs:  This session meets the criteria of an approved continuing education program for mental health practice and social work in the state of Nebraska for 1.5 hours
